Hi everyone

I am trying to install v7, on my acer aspire 1640 laptop, but it gets stuck at the blue screen after printing following text in verbose mode. Appreciate suggestion/help to resolve this issue for installation

Do you have >=4GB of ram? Generally the 'stuck at the blue screen' happens with large amounts of ram with certain chipsets (don't think anyone knows quite why yet).

 

Try maxmem=3072 at the darwin prompt.

 

If you don't, not quite sure. ICH6/Intel seems pretty well supported.
