ct2k7 Posted August 7, 2009 Share Posted August 7, 2009 Hello, I am using iDeneb's 10.5.7 on my Inspiron 6400. I am experiencing one of the most irritating problems: random crashes. OS X is a bit slow and laggy, but I can live with that, but for no reason, applications crash then Finder crashes with the beach ball, that is making 1 revolution per second then just halts. I cannot access the task manager to see what's happening. I've reinstalled twice to no avail. I am in the middle of installing the iPhone SDK, and it's really annoying. One way to resolve is to do a hard shut down. Really, what is going on. Also, just noticed that the fan is now on, but no hot air is coming out, just slightly warm air. CPU issue?
