chrispc88
Hi, I've got an Asus P5QL-EM Intel G43 Socket 775 Motherboard Details from Tiger Direct I am using a Sony IDE DVD Burner and I have a 1TB Western Digital HDD that has 4 partitions using gParted (3 logical 1 NTFS, 1 ext2, 1 HFS, and 1 swap). When I try to boot with any OS X Installation DVD (Kalyway, Leo4All, etc) with option -v, they all get stuck at "BSM Auditing Present". Has anyone got a solution for this? Is there a setting that I can change in the BIOS to get around this (I've tried several, but so far no luck)? Could it be that I need to use a SATA CD Drive? Could it be my partition scheme? I've gotten 10.4 and 10.5 to work on a previous motherboard that got zapped in a thunderstorm, and since I purchased this mobo I have not been able to get OSX to work with it. It's been a bit frustrating! lol And, I am a computer programmer, but not very good with UNIX, so if the help I need requires a lot of UNIX commands, please make things as simple as possible. Thanks.
