One for the highroad Posted August 2, 2009 Share Posted August 2, 2009 Hi, The other day i installed iATKOS OSx86 10.5.7 for Intel/AMD The intallation went well, No problems there. But when i booted up iAtkos my keyboard didnt work And also I tryed everything under the sun to try and get my wireless to work, No luck. Im wondering if any of you guys could help me. My wireless card is the Atheros AR5007 802.11b/g WiFi adapter And does anyway also know why my keyboard was disabled? I had the same problem with my laptop and installing the ps2 kext worked. I had the same problem with my laptop and installing the ps2 kext worked. Ok that worked, But now for the wireless? Any idea's? (com.apple.installer.pagecontroller error-1.) Couldn't open "Atheros.pkg". So i right clicked it and select explore package contents clicked the installer from inside there and it installed, I rebooted and nothing happend? No wireless icon.. No wireless switch enabled, No nothing:( Someone please help that is really odd you got that error, it suppose to work from clicking it Anyways after reboot you are suppose to head inside *System Preferences > *Network & enable Airport (it will not be display on status bar if you haven't enabled it) *Show Airport in status in menu bar But yes.. I only gave my idea of trying to fix it... but simply would be not to your atheros, Did you try the Search in these forums.. searching exactly: Atheros AR5007 or AR5007 Or Google search: AR5007 10.5.7 <- you may search different osx versions hopefully one should appear, I'm certain I have read about that exact model atheros working.. but that was along time ago, when I was searching to make my atheros work. Hopefully you will manage to find it, don't let your hopes down... if all fails for 1 week...
