tylerdvorak
Hi,I recently bought a new monitor for my computer, and decided it would be a good idea to reinstall my Hackintosh as well. Everything works fine, and I chose the same drivers as the last ideneb I used, but the audio does not work, except for the microphone from my monitor. Any way I can fix this problem without reinstalling? Also, I get an error after bootup about the CD in my drive not being readable or something, not a super big deal, but annoying. I'd also like to get rid of this. Thanks for your help! Tyler Dvorak Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/177772-ideneb-151-audio/ Share on other sites

tylerdvorak
That did the trick, although it doesn"t recognize my microphone input...but thats fine I guess, seeing as it found the monitors microphone. Thanks a million. Now for the next couple progblems. One I get the disk insertion error on boot I heard this was an ahcpi problem, but i have my comp set to AHCPI.EDIT: I figured this one out pretty quick, turns out they were my linux disk, and I installed a program that got rid of the problem. Next, how do I get bootup sounds to work? Is this even possible?
