jcafaro10 Posted July 29, 2009 Share Posted July 29, 2009 I've been trying to get leopard installed on an external hd for my inspiron 1420 but it hasn't worked at all so I'm going to try it on my internal drive instead. I'm going to use gparted to shrink my partition and then create another partition on which to install leopard. Hopefully this will work but it probably won't. My concern is setting up my laptop to be able to boot to either partition. What do I need to do beforehand to make sure I can boot into either partition?
