Asus EEE PC1000HD Boot0: Error

I recently tried a version of hackintosh on my Asus EEE PC 1000HD, Install went great, was able to boot into it(got the apple load screen and it failed there). The boot loader worked and everything, I was able to go into either macosx or Windows XP. I have them installed on two seperate paritions on a 120GB drive. Yesterday I booted it up and all I get is a boot0: error, I can't get into bios, can't boot from cd or usb stick. Since it doesn't even get to the Asus bios screen or anything for that matter, I'm kinda of stuck on what to do.

 

Anyone run into this issue figure out a solution?

try using the F8 or F10 or whatever key to get to the boot menu, select the disc, and when it asks for extra boot options, try

 

-f -v -x rd=disk0s1

 

or

 

-f -v -x rd=disk0s2

 

or -f -v -x rd=disk0sX

 

where X is the partition where OSX is installed on. You can find this by actually loading the install disc fully, going to the disk utility and finding out the partition on the hard drive.

 

and then once you get in, get a bootloader and fix.

 

 

Or you can try the chain0 method.

 

In your OSX i386 folder, there is a file named chain0.

 

Copy that to your C:\ drive on windows

 

and then

 

in the boot.ini for windows put,

 

C:\chain0="Mac OSX"

 

Or whatever you want to name it within the double quotes.

 

This will use the Windows bootloader to load OSX and its what I've done on my pc due to my mobo being all picky about the bootloader.
