peteofaus Posted July 27, 2009 Share Posted July 27, 2009 Hello, I have just a short question; I am currently onto 10.5.5 running with normal Darwin Bootloader for x86 machines, as Darwin EFI doesn't work for me. Now I'd like to update to 10.5.6 or 10.5.7 and got my eyes on this guide. Tere is the instruction to Install PC_Efi v9. Is this realy necessary to run a version higher than 10.5.5 ? Thanks! im running 10.5.6 using munkys method and its rock solid, i did previously install 10.5.7 but it chewed up my audio driver and i couldnt get any audio output if that helps ?
