Hi all,

Right, so i've finally took the plunge to try out OSX.. and {censored} me this is hard...

I tried iAKTOS to install on my PC and wouldnt even boot to the install, so got thrown iDeneb 1.4(?).

That installs and reboots - When I try to boot it, it just ends up on a spinny wheel.

See this vid, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZY-kJxtE74 to view it. But it basically shows that I cant see anything that can cause it (After -v -x or whatever).

My h/w is:

Motherboard: Asrock Wolfdale1333-D667

RAM: DDR2 800mhz

Graphics: nVidia GeForce 8500 GT

Sound Card: Cant remember.. Creative something or other... not soundblaster (I'll confirm when home)

Chipset: Intel

HDD is an IDE, Set as Master. I have windows on a sata drive. When booting I select which drive to boot, being the IDE for OSX.

So if anyone can clarify what I should be selecting in iDeneb (I did my best...) as knowing me itsprobably just that.

Or if its anything else, help? :P

Cheers all! Much love!

You're better off switching all your drives to SATA then jumping to your BIOS and setting SATA to use AHCI.

If you can't, then make sure you select JMicron to get your IDE drive to show. See here for iDeneb 1.4 (10.5.6)

As you have Windows installed on another drive, then you will need to set up dual boot, clicky here
