blackmac44
I have been trying to boot from the DVD which I burned at 2x and verified the disc and then I stick the disk in and reboot it starts up and starts loading Darwin but then all the sudden goes to the grey screen and tells me to reboot. I have tried everything and looked for a solution without any luck and would appreciate any help you can give me to get on with the rest of the installation already. Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/17565-grey-reboot-screen/ Share on other sites
james2mart
boot with option "-x", and if that does not help, boot with "-v" and photocopy your output and post it here. I had the same problem, and i searched and found the solution i gave you. You should learn to look harder. Almost all the wikis say "if you have problems, try with -x or with -v to see your output..." Read a little closer next time.
