Hi everyone, 1st of all I have to thank you all for this cool project/website/forum.

I'm trying to install OS/X on a PC just for curiosity, but above all to try Ardour 'cause authors refuse to release other platforms' ports (I'm installing Ubuntu-Studio 9.04 x64 while I'm writing without issues...). :)

So here's the detailed situation:

  1. PC characteristics seems to fit OS/X minimal requirements (check the CPUz text dump). Here's a CPUz / GPUz shot under Win64:dump_sempron.JPG
  2. I've tried different distros, same result (in test order):
    • iATKOS v7
    • KalyWay 10.5.2
    • Leo4All v3
    • iDeneb 1.4

[*]I also tested these parameters at boot (thanks to hispanico79 user):

  • -v -x
  • -v -x -legacy
  • -v -x cpus=1
  • -v -x -legacy cpus=1

...nothing to do. :(

[*]I can't post crash installation/kernel panic shots 'cause the machine simply reset itself after initial text screens and restart from bootstrap . :D

[*]If i've understood well, i should use "voodoo" kernel on AMD machines, but installer loads "mach" ones. How to switch ?

Thanks in advice !
