bjohnb
I've installed the iatkos v7 and all is well apart from 2 things. I've got a Radeon X1650 Series with dual DVI. I don't think the drivers i chose on install have worked as my display is fixed at 1024x768 single monitor. I am such a total noob at this OSx86 stuff that i have no idea what to do. Could anyone advise? Does anyone have the same graphics card and has got it working? I'd really appreciate any info or help. Thanks in advance. Nividica
I've same problem . Please somebody help.. I would recommend the topic 69345. It was a life saver for me to get my card working. A few side notes to the post however is that you need to make sure you change the correct device id out of the ATIX1000.kext > Info.plist and Hex file. In the guide he changes 71c0, however this was not the correct device code to change for my card. And also, if you are using an injector, such as Natit, before you make any changes check to see what ATY_*** kext is being loaded via the System profiler, this way you will know to edit that files IOPCIDevice and display information. And lastly, remember that when you are at the boot screen, you can enter the options -x to boot into safe mode, or if that doesnt work -s to boot into single user mode (just the terminal). These options can keep you from a world of headache when it comes to boot issues.
