Wondering if this would work help please

for the purpose of dual booting windows and leopard (probably kalyway 10.5.2) there's just one issue 2 sata ports and 3 sata devices i wish to use a 1tb hdd the 750 that comes with it and a dvd drive i have...i am also under the assumption correct me if i'm wrong that if i run the os's on seperate hard drives it shouldn't affect the windows that i will already have installed ...so back to my real question could i use a pci/pcie x1 sata card and have no problems? any help would be great thank you
