SamaraQ Posted July 12, 2009 Share Posted July 12, 2009 ok this is my first post here, but have been running 10.5.2 on my inspiron 1525 for over a year now....heres my problem: I cant upgrade past 10.5.2! WTF! Ive got Kalyway 10.5.2 to work great, for the most part, but I want 10.5.7! Ive tried the Kalyway 10.5.3 upgrade files...no go....dead mac! Ive got iDeneb 10.5.5 to run great, with the exception of once im in I no longer seem to have a dvd drive and cant seem to fix it! I just tried iATKOS 10.5.7 and this is what I get EVERY TIME i try to install: "Jul 12 16:26:05 localhost OSInstaller[133]: Creating destination path Jul 12 16:26:05 localhost OSInstaller[133]: Validating package payload Jul 12 16:27:33 localhost OSInstaller[133]: The 10.5.7.Intel package failed to validate. Jul 12 16:27:33 localhost OSInstaller[133]: Install failed: The Installer could not validate the contents of the ‘10.5.7.Intel’ package. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance." So now Im back at 10.5.2! Anyone else had these problems? Im running a nearly stock Dell Inspiron 1525 1.8Ghz dual core cpu 3Gb ram webcam stock broadcom wifi 250Gb HDD TSST Corp DVD drive Thanks!
