hey all.

I have a friend here that would like to try out os x on his PC.

He has a core i7 920 and GA EX58 UD3R motherboard.

I told him to download iDeneb v1.4 10.5.6 for Intel/AMD (Mac OSx86 Leopard)

Does anyone have some sort of tutorial for this motherboard? including links to drivers and everything?

I can't look for hours myself as my internet got slowed down to a dial up speed (I'm in Australia and we have limit quotas *sigh*)

Any links would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I am that friend :D

It's my setup he's referring to.

I've only ever used a Mac for about ten minutes.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Read the first page of Digital Dreamers thread in the Tutorials forum. His tutorial and installation script is for the X58 UD5 board, but it also works for the UD3R board (the one I and you have). The exception is the Audio kexts - our board has the 888 chipset and the UD5 has the 889 chipset.

I would suggest the iPC or XxX distro as the "bootstrap" MacOS version as they are equally easy to configure for this board.
