melefire Posted July 10, 2009 Share Posted July 10, 2009 I was running 10.5.4 fine for quite a while, but recently i did a clean install of 10.5.6 using ipc. I got everything working but now the system runs very slow. In activity monitor it says that kernel_task is using 80% of the processor at all times.
