filthyphil
Hi, I am running Kalway 10.52 on my Shuttle system and it works great. The one issue I am having is with the onboard network card which is a Broadcom Netlink Gigagbit adapter. It works fine for most of the time but it has a MAC address of 00:00:00:00. This causes some problems with FTP connectivity and VPN. My question is this, do I need a new driver / kext for the device or do I just need to give it a MAC address? I can boot into XP to find out what the actual MAC is if needed. I am making a backup of the boot drive now with ccc in case I screw things up. Any help would be great, I have not installed or modified any kext before so please be gentle. Thanks for any help or advice.
