splinterf Posted July 6, 2009 Share Posted July 6, 2009 I have Mac OSX 10.5.6 installed on a very old IDE drive currently and I'd like to clone it onto a new SATAII Drive. The SATA drive is detected by OSX and appears in the finder. They are both the same size. If I clone the IDE drive onto the SATA drive using SuperDuper, will the SATA drive then boot or would I need to make changes to the bootloader etc? I'm using iPC 10.5.6, Chameleon 1.x.
