What's up, I'm new to this board. I'm a long time Mac user, first time OSx86'er. I decided to install OSX Leopard on an old stock Dell Optiplex GX280, in order to use the iPhone SDK, since I can't afford to get an Intel Mac right now.

So I used the ToH install disk, and the installation went perfectly. OSX is now up and running. My problem is that I can't get it to boot straight from the hard disk. I tried running script.sh, and like almost everyone else, had no luck. I also tried using Sortadan's script, which just gave me a boot loop :thumbsup_anim: . I had one partition on the drive, should I have had a separate boot partition? This doesn't seem necessary at all.

Or is there a boot loader program I could just install and forget about?

If I have to do this myself (ie. not use someone else's script), I have no idea where to start.

Before anyone mentions it, I did UTFSE without much luck. That's how I found Sortadan's script.

Any help would be great.
