peptonib
Hi everyone I have a Dell precision 690 workstation. 2 x Intel Xeon Quad core. 4 Gb RAM. Sapphire x1950 pro 512 Mb. Dual Eizo FlexScan s2411w. Installed RETAIL Leopard 10,5 with boot 132. working Updated with combo update to 10,5,7 working Universal OSx86 Installer to Install pc_efi v9 Chameleon edition 1.0.12 working Universal OSx86 Installer to install kexts for network card BCM5751 working Universal OSx86 Installer to install kexts (voodoohda.kext) for integrated audio. working bronya's drivers recommended for 10.5.7 on HCL for the sapphire x1950 PRO 512 mb. full working QE/CI. Dual monitoring at full resolution. On board, integrated firewire NOT WORKING (Texas Instruments). I had to put a generic firewire. now working out of the box. working (even with final cut pro) SAS LSI controller not recognized. Have to run form SATA. the only thing missing is SLEEP. I really don't needed that much, but i would like to complete an, otherwise perfect and highly stable system. Sleep is not working, screen goes black but computer does not go to sleep. During testing i installed Leo4All and sleep WAS working. Running Adobe Master Collection, Final Cut Studio Pro, etc. without a hitch. Just perfect. Any clues for the sleep question? Any clues for the integrated firewire? Thanks a lot Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/173542-dell-precision-690-sleep-problem/ Share on other sites
