pogon
Hi there, my sound just stopped working today. I'm using a 945GCM-S2l board equiped with ALC662, running iAtkos v7. VoodooHDA worked some days, but somehow ceased to do so. I don't really know what changed. I installed iPhone Developer Tools, but this can't be related, can it? I tried installing Azalia and VoodooHDA again, both don't raise errors on dmesg, speakers are popping on boot like they always did, sound preferences work fine. It cannot be hardware related, since WinXP plays sound fine. Anyone got an idea what I could check next? I'm pretty new to OSX internals... Thanks, pogon Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/173172-driver-independent-sound-problem/ Share on other sites
pogon
hm, that's crazy, now working again after several reboots is it possible, that some drivers require two reboots?
