Flagcarrier
Measured with my trusty iPod Touch: 10 seconds in BIOS 5 seconds in Chameleon bootloader 1 minute 43 seconds in grey apple logo screen (replaced with verbose statistics if booted with -v) 4 minutes and 5 seconds in blue screen until background image shows up Every since I installed Mac OSX I've been cursed with these incredible booting times. I've searched the forums, but all I can find relates to lowering the time that's spent during the grey apple screen. I don't know of 1:43 duration is normal or not, but it sure as hell is a lot nicer than the waiting that comes after it! Since it's *after* the verbose part, I can't tell if there's anything special that lags my computer up. Verbose mode shows nothing out of the ordinary. A few errors about not being connected to the internet, a few errors about incompatabilities, nothing that's not normal for a Hackintosh to show. I'm running an install of iATKOS v7. My computer specs are below. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
