mikemayo21
hey guys. been trying to get leopard on my computer for weeks now. had kalyway 10.5.2 working okay.. but not as fast as win at all. ive been goin back and forth for a long time now ha. anyway i downloaded and burned iatkos 7 10.5.7 and surprisingly it booted and everything! (my system is limited cuz i got a nforce 780i chipset with 2 SATA HDDs and 2 SATA Optticals =/ ) okay so it booted and i chose all my drivers and stuff but i noticed that there are only 2 kernels to choose from! theres two voodoo kernels i think like 9.7.0 and 9.5.0. i tried em both and both times it says installing and after 5 minutes of no installation progress i get a kernel panic. well of course i need the nforce kernel for my board. how can i install this iatkos with a different kernel? idealy can i somehow add my own kernels and kexts and stuff to burn and then choose from when im installing? any help would be great. kalyway 10.5.2 was working decently but theres a significant decrease in performance compared to even vi$ta! it works fine really. it only boots slow and when i copy files from my external to a Hard drive it takes sooo long! basically i want to get a 10.5.7 version of any osx86 working with no performance drop. any help appreciated. ALSOOOO i would love to get RAID 0 working on this toooo! i need to know how to set this up with osx86. win recognizes the RAID as one disc where OSX86 sees it as 2 even though i have it setup in my BIOS. i know i got hella problems but i need major help. that damn leopard is just soo beautiful and has some really awesome features! SYSTEM SPECS: evga nforce 780i sli intel c2d e8400 geforce 8800gt 2 SATA HDs 2 SATA optical 1 IDE optical (i kinda just plug it in cuz osx86 is so anti -SATA!!!)
