Obelix1
Greetings, I have iPC 10.5.6 updated to 10.5.7 using iDENEB combo update which fixed all previous issues like non-recognized USB hdd's, QE on x1600xt etc. but one annoying thing remained unsolved and that is I cannot get dvd's or cd's recognized, or their icon on the desktop. Here are detailes copied from system profiler: Under serial-ata tree all attached drives seem to be recognized correctly: TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S223F: Model: TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S223F Revision: SB00 Serial Number: Detachable Drive: No Protocol: atapi Unit Number: 0 Socket Type: Serial-ATA Power Off: No Async Notification: No DVD is serial ATA, chipset is Nforce 4, motherboard Asus A8N-SLI premium. I've tried switching sata ports but with no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
