awlh4130 10.5.6 iopci not working

Long time linux user trying out 10.5.6 ipc iso. I've had no luck in getting my awlh4130 airling to working with the atheros driver. When I try to load the driver I get complaints about

iopcifamily and version problems. Also it complains about sha1_hardware_hook and symbol not found.

 

Is there some info anyone out there has used to get the airlink awlh4130 working on ipc 10.5.6? When I search

threads here most are from 10.4 or just old from 2006-2007 and dont seem applicable.

 

I also tried a awll6080 usb airlink but that didnt work either. If you've got a recipe for that then please post your findings.
