Synaesthesia
when you get to a boot menu type in "cpus=1" (without the quotes) If it doesn't go to a boot menu, hit F8 to get to one right at startup. Synaesthesia
Always enter -v when you boot up so you can see error messages. Also boot with cpus=1, until you can fix the issue with a DSDT patch.
