Amelia Posted May 12, 2006 Share Posted May 12, 2006 As i was installing,Mac has just loaded i open Disk Utilities and we have to wait as they are gathering information and soon after that there was no hard disk located except for the dvd iso and the dvd writer thats all nothing else and so i just continue the installation and reaching the "Select Destination" page and there was nothing whats wrong? we can install in a partition rite? i made a 70 gb partition NFTS or i should change to FAT32 or FAT? please help me im using Mac OS X 10.4.5 is it something to do with the version? thanks. Amelia I just had the same problem and found the answer in the wiki http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...root_device..22 apparently the main HD and DVD drive need to be on the southbridge, thus they will need to be on the same IDE channel.
