savagetwinky
Ok so today was the first time i really tried to install OSX and was quite successfull, I used iDeneb 1.4 and it took me 3 installs to get it working perfectly since i don't really know how to install kexts after. My system p5b intel core 2 duo e6600 2.4ghz 4gb pc6400 9800gtx 512mb or gt not sure.. 160gb and 1tb sata drives IDE dvd rom the bios I actually left the sata on IDE and turned on the advanced acpi 2.0 if any one needs details about that then i'll get exact details with settings. The reason i left sata on IDE though was because if i changed it to ahci then after updating to 10.5.7 it would make my HD's look like external drives, total nitpicking so i reinstalled with them as IDE. the settings i used in iDeneb in patches, nvinject and nvdarwin i selected the 512mb version. for chipset i selected jmicron and ihcx for audio i selected all i didn't know which one to use, i have ac97 and ac97 didn't work. i feel like there might have been somethign else but can't remember. After installing like this everything worked perfectly, after updating to 10.5.7 everything but sound worked perfectly. so if you have an idea how to get it to work then that would be awesome. The thing is, if i go to about this mac, i can see it still knows there is an audio device, but in system pref's->sounds and click in output tab there are no devices. I might have to uninstall 10.5.7 if i can sleep doesn't work just figured that out lol Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/172490-success-ideneb-14-and-updated-to-1057-almost-success/ Share on other sites
