Tom =)
Ok, so I updated kalyway 10.5.1, using 10.5.6. Combo update using method I saw online, although I wasn't quick enough to remove the appleintelcpu?kext... (I forget the name) but now it freezes during start up because of this, so I need to remove the file from my hard drive? And also edit the start up script for the do not steal mac os x etc. Is ubuntu capable (live cd) of editin the kext, and deleting the other kext? After that I can use the kalyway DVD to repair disk permissions. Is there anyone who knows a better way than this? I'm really stuck, I have no other OS on the computer. Also, this may be in the wrong topic, sorry, using iPhone is hard to see , but I have problems with my sound in kalyway. , I followed instructions with lots of stuff, but none worked. I have Analog Devices 198x , it's not HD one, can this possible work? Integrated Audio. Also, my motherboard doesn't have PCI-E, so I'm using ATI HD2400 Pro, 256mb. I followed tutorial for this,, but no luck, can anyone give help? Sorry for the bad English. Will ideneb help? Or just same driver problem Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/172296-installation-problems-update-accident-drivers/ Share on other sites
Beerkex'd
If you boot from the Kalyway install DVD you can run Terminal and work from there.
