Xodia
I've been wrestling with this for the last day and a half. Its really starting to get on my nerves. I am doing a dual boot setup with two primary partitions (partition one for Windows, two for Mac OS). After formatting it to AF, I used DD to copy the deadmoo image to the second partition. I still get an HFS+ partition error. The first time I tried to get Mac OS on the second partition it transferred fine, but the partition was in Fat32 format. I had to change the type to AF, then I got the error. That made sense to me because possibly the switch messed it up. This time I can't make any sense of it because I started over fresh. I read the other thread related to this sort of problem, but I had already tried everything suggested there. Any help would be apreciated. Xodia
Ok, Now I tried using MacosX in vmware to erase and then restore the partition. I restarted my computer, used my bootloader to load the image (I use GAG), and I still get the same freaking error. This is driving me insane. Is there something I have done wrong? Zeph
Rather than DDing the DeadMoo image, go and download the Developer DVD by Phenix and patch it to release 1, much easier, allows you to do a fresh install.
