ok guys,

here is my problem;)

i finally managed it to boot into osx with a boot manager chain0

now when i try to boot i get the "screen of death".

it tells me to reboot my computer etc

when i boot up with failsafe mode i get the following message at last:

vram [c0000000 : 10000000] (or something similar to this^^)

to you know where the problem is?

i get an message which tells me that the login has been loaded.

[i think i get the "screen of death" in graphics mode when i get the error above in failsafe mode]

thx & greets

What kind of video card do you have?

When (a split second after) you select OS X from your NTLDR boot menu, attack the F8 key, you should get a boot prompt for darwin. Enter -x to load OS X in safe mode. You could try deleting or moving the ATI kexts, in /System/Library/Extensions.

ah alright

-x worked for me

after deleting the ati kexts it could start up normally

thx a lot!

now i have to get network running :)
