Tonic Posted May 10, 2006 Share Posted May 10, 2006 ok guys, here is my problem;) i finally managed it to boot into osx with a boot manager chain0 now when i try to boot i get the "screen of death". it tells me to reboot my computer etc when i boot up with failsafe mode i get the following message at last: vram [c0000000 : 10000000] (or something similar to this^^) to you know where the problem is? i get an message which tells me that the login has been loaded. When (a split second after) you select OS X from your NTLDR boot menu, attack the F8 key, you should get a boot prompt for darwin. Enter -x to load OS X in safe mode. You could try deleting or moving the ATI kexts, in /System/Library/Extensions.
