lowlife
Thinking about pulling the trigger on an Intel mobo soon for a new setup.. From what I've googled and read here on insanelymac a lot of the stock Intel mobos seem to work alright with the exception of the onboard graphics which isn't a big deal... I'm looking for something to put a core2duo on with a 775 socket. Fortune tellers and crystal ball(s) asside, we know that 10.6 will be heavily integrating OpenCL (i don't mean GL), as well as a lot of other hardware based updates, will this still cut it? I'm wondering if it would be MUCH better to hold out collecting any new hardware until 10.6 has been released OR get the gear now, build it and have it ready just in time?
