gordo987
I was excited to try to get a dual boot OS X on my new vista machine. I downloaded and burned kalyway's install DVD, and made a 25GB partition to install onto, following this guide: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph..._VISTA_Dualboot I put the DVD in and restarted. I hit F8 when it asked, and then typed -v at the prompt. The installation starts, but only gets about 6 lines down before the screen goes black and the computer restarts. I tried several times with the exact same result. What did I do wrong? My system: Asus M3A78 mobo AMD 9850 cpu ATI 4670 video card Thanks for any help in advance, gordo Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/170417-problem-installing-kalyway-1052/ Share on other sites
gordo987
I only have a SATA HDD instead of an IDE connected one, does that matter? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/170417-problem-installing-kalyway-1052/#findComment-1188514 Share on other sites
