I have installed OSX with vmware but would like to book natively. I had to install with vmware because I can only boot the install cd from vmware because I am stuck with the "still waiting fro root device" problem without vmware.

Is there a way to get the vmware disk onto recognize the rest of the space on my mac formatted hd? The HD is 40G and vmware is only using 7G of it. The problem is that from vmware, MacOs only sees that 7G. It doesn't see the rest of the hard drive. I was gont to try to just copy the vdmk (vmware disk containing MacOS) contents to the available mac HD space from within vmware.

Or does anyone have any other ideas on how to boot natively using a vmware install. I used the Mac_OS_X_10.4.4_5_osx86_Patched_Bootable_DVD file to install.

Sorry if tha wan't real clear. If your familiar with vmware maybe yo can figure out what I'm trying to say.

Thanks for any help.
