I stumbled across osx86 some time ago and its time for me to take part in the community. To start things of here are some specs. P4 3ghz cpu (non HT but it has the SE instructions on it ) Abit ls7 motherboard. Raedon 9600xt pro video card 2gigs of ram Havent picked a dvd drive or hd out of my box of goodies yet though. From what Ive found on the osx86wiki is that 10.4.6 is the only version that supports my motherboard. ( possibly other versions that would work, going to start with what is proven at the moment ) IS7 ABIT Sound works (line out, others not tested), Built in LAN does NOT work, USB works, FireWire works. SATA works. Goatse 10.4.6 865P Ok from what I understand of this is basicly everything work except the LAN. No problem I will just findout what kind of network cards work and snatch one. The only version of 10.4.6 google would find for me though was JaS. So InsanelyMac forums, do you think what I have to work with is enough to get by? Or do you have any other random information / suggestions that you think you should share or I should know?
