Pipe G
hey, so for the last MONTH, yes month ive been trying to get my 8800gt card to work on my iatkosv1.0i 1.5.1, updated to 1.5.2 with kalyway updater. When i select my display card in efi studio and i write it to apple.boot.plist, this process goes perfectly fine. Then i reboot, it loads everything ok but nothing changes. I cant change display, my vram is 32mb again, and as i said nothing changes. So i do this again, and i try to select efi installation. When i try to install efi v8, it tells me that my hd needs to be GUID formatted. But when i try to format as GUID my pc just freezes and cant do anything. What should i do? Please help! xfx 8800gt 512mb, on iatkos v1.0i updated to 1.5.2. Sata drive. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/168361-efi-studio/ Share on other sites

Pipe G
no worries people i fixed it.... for people experiencing my problems, heres how I fixed it. I just couldnt install leopard 1.5.6 because my pc didnt support vannila kernel. So I selected the voodo kernel and the seatbelt fix, and it went just fine. Then i ran efi studio, selected 8800gt 512mb, write to apple.boot.plist and restarted, and it worked!
