Twenty-Two
Hey guys, I bet you're sick of these posts but lets give it a try since on other forums no one replies and I really like to know if this will work. I tried iDeneb 1.4 (10.5.6) to boot but when I got through the bootloader, it came up with a gray screen with the Apple logo on it. Soon after 20 seconds a forbidden sign came upon the Apple Logo and my harddisk power went off. It got stuck spinning for ages. I waited about 2 hours but nothing happend. I decided to Google some information and came by some website telling my I need to boot with F8 and then -v cpus=1 platform=pc86. I got some other information, It now stucks at a message that I don't know where to put in my mind, Is it a USB error or a EHCI error? The error message: (I don't remember the digits at the error messages and these are copied from the internet to give you a impression of what kind of error messages I see). USBF: **.*** EHCI controller unable to take control from BIOSUSBF: **.*** AppleUSBEHCI[0x2c56000]: unable to obtain ownership: 0xe00002be USBF: **.*** AppleUSBEHCI[0x2c56000]::UIMInitialize - Error occurred (0xe00002be) USBF: **.*** AppleUSBEHCI[0x2c56000]: UIMFinalize 0 0 0x2c98700 USBF: **.*** AppleUSBEHCI: unable to initialize UIM After this error message some message about my realtek network card comes up and then halts and does not continue.
