Just to report a perfect install of 10.5.6 with XxX_x86_10.5.6 Universal_Final and a better upgrade experience to the 10.5.7 with the combo update. All working except for the multimedia card reader (no big deal). Using OSX since 10.4.2 on this laptop. It's the first time that the ethernet work out of the box and continue working (in other versions the ethernet card work just until the first restart). Been working with the 10.5.6 for 2-3 weeks and just make the update a couple of days ago without any problem.

Hi, What boot cd iso did you use for the install, i have no luck installing 10.5 on my mx8711.

I get to a blue screen after gray screen and apple logo. Thanks for any help. Al
