I'm running ipc 10.5.6 on my Dell E1705 with the Voodoo kernel and everything seems to work just fine. I couldn't get ethernet to work very well, it worked but was extremely slow, so I added an Apple usb to ethernet adapter and now all is well.

All except when the machine goes to sleep. If I close the lid the hard drive fires up for a few seconds and then everything goes down and the power light starts to pulse. Ok great, it's sleeping. Perfect. Open the display and it comes back to life. But the screen stays black. I have the two bottom corners setup for display sleep and I tested them and they work. I can move into them to sleep the display and move the mouse again and it comes back. The two corners do not however, wake the display after the machine sleeps.

I've also tried the Fn + Esc keys which someone said would wake the screen but that too didn't do anything. Closing the lid again and reopening it, nothing. Hitting the power button does nothing as the machine is awake, just not the monitor.

What do I need to do for the screen to come back up? I don't have an external monitor for this computer, just the built in display.

Thanks!!!
