indigoimac Posted May 15, 2009 Share Posted May 15, 2009 Hello, I've got a full retail install of 10.5.6 up and running on an Asus P5Q Deluxe w. a Q6600 and 8GB of RAM, I've got two 320gig SATA hardrives in it, one for osx and one for windows. Occasionally the system will lockup or pinwheel when I am copying files around, and the performance is rather lackluster in programs like XBench. There is no issue at all in Windows. Has anybody else come across this with this board or ICH10? Is there a kext I am missing that will sort this out? Thanks! EDIT: This person seems to be having a similar issue through they used Kalyway http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=148266 EDIT2: Funny how life works, apparently 10.5.7 has native ICH10 support.
