dasper
It seems that apple has included alot of drivers for SiS but I appear to be having some problems with my laptop. My computer is able to install OSX through vmware but cannot function by itself and I am thinking it is incompatible hardware. After running PC Wizard 2006 I found my laptop is basicly composed of SiS and ATI components. Before I give up, I wanted to post to get the opionions of some people that actually have an idea of what they are doing. I see drivers for the 655 and 756 chipset but not the one that I have and wonder if that might have something to do with it. I also am a novice at installing the ATI video card drivers and remember reading about needing to bypass looking for a specific ID on the card but have no idea what they are talking about. I was hoping that I could use this as time to learn more about the Mac OS and unix at the same time so any information would be greatly appreciated. My hardware specs are located below.
