Polon Posted May 14, 2009 Share Posted May 14, 2009 Hello alltogether, I am fairily new to the hackintosh scene. I recently decided to buy a HP Mini 2140 having the installation of mac os x on it in mind. so i went on and after endless forum digging i decided to try it with the msiwindosx distro. i loaded the whole thing on a usb drive and applied the chameleonx efi. unfortunately when i try to boot from the stick, nothing happens but i get stuck on a black screen with a blinking underscore sign (_) or minus (not shure but i'm pretty convinced it's a underscore). i searched the forums on various sites and googled it without any success (i made shure there were no spaces in the name, tried applying another kernel, i found something named "combined post patch" but don't know exactly what to do with this) would anyone please mind helping me with this problem? thank you very much!
