installed osx sucessfully. got into mac set up my stuff pref., browsed the internet for a bit and then i wanted to see if it would restart normally. ahh. its not restarting. i select my apple hd. i have it dual booting with xp. everytime i select the mac hd it starts loading all the drivers. the black screen with the lines of code.

it freezes when it gets to this line though

"FireWire (OHIC) VendorID 1180 ID 832 PCI now active, GUID 07...; max speed s400"

then sometimes it will go to still waiting on root device and it just keeps doing that.

HELP! anyone. I dont know why its doing that. Also is it normal for the drivers to load everytime you load up the operating system. Im sorry if this is a repear question. I searched the forums I couldnt find an answer

fixed the issue. removed the firewire kexts. and now it boots up. for the most part. after i installed an azaila audio package because the sound was choppy.. it would free at times during boot. would have to restart and boot again. im trying to get the original audio drivers using pacifist.

by any chance.. does anyone know how to UNDO the drivers u installed using the azaila audio package?
