MSI Wind u100

BIOS EN011IMS_10B ( Not sure what this means, which I think might be the start of my problem)

OSX 10.5.4 installed using common method MSIWINDOSX disc

After installing, everything was looking on the bright side for me. Most everything was working. So I thought "Hey, that was quite simple, follow the guide and it all works out!" Then I decided to update to 10.5.6 using the patches and downloading the image for the apple site. NOTE: I did not use the apple updater, besides even if I wanted to I still had no internet at this point.

After I get done following the directions to get the internet working using the native card with leaked drivers, followed with the update, I restarted.

After I clicked restart and I have yet to boot back in to OSX.

I have tried to reinstall OSX, however for whatever reason the usb ports are no longer recognized. So when it starts up I click the del key and tell the wind to boot up off the DVD drive it, seems to skip over to the hard drive.

It tried to boot however this is the a picture of the screen. Notice the red circle with the red slash through it. What does this mean. How can I get my usb ports to work again, how can I get my wind to boot?

Thank you in advance.

Sidenote, I looked through past issues to save time and space, but I was not sure what someone else might be calling this issue.

Thanks again

Nick
