intokkabire Posted May 5, 2009 Share Posted May 5, 2009 Hi Everyone, I'm wondering if it is possible to replace my Windows XP install with 7 without having to reinstall OSX. I know I would need to format XP partition and do a fresh 7 install, but I'm not sure if I would be able to get back to OSX if I did that. Both XP and OSX are on the same drive as: disk0s1 (XP) and disk0s2 (OSX) Any tips on the best way to go about this.. if it can be done? Thanks. tieitsch Posted May 6, 2009 Share Posted May 6, 2009 I have the same question. Booting with the XP boot loader who throws me into the Darwin boot loader using the Chain0 file. I heared that windows vista/7 doesn't have a boot.ini, can this still be done?
