Sethiroth
Hey everybody, Im in a real pickle here. I have a build that ran great with a Core2 E6750 in a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L mobo. Anyways, I had to take the CPU I had in it out and replace it with another one. Now I have a Core2 e7200 in it. Anyways, ever since I switched the CPU out I've had a few problems. First of all, the clock gets off time. I went into the BIOS and set all the CPU multiplier clock settings to what the CPU is and now the clock doesn't get off near as bad anymore, but it does run ever so slightly slower then it should. But my biggest problem is with Logic. You see I started to record today and before the CPU swap it ran fine, but now I get an error that says "Error While Trying to Synchronize Audio and Midi. Sample rate 46585 recognized. Check conflict between external device and logic." The funny thing is, the sample rate is always a different number every time the error pops up. It should say "44100" because that is what its set at. Anyways, I believe what is happening is that the CPU is fluctuating speed. I checked in BIOS and made sure all of the settings that cause CPU fluctuations were off and they were. Is this an issue with CPU compatibility with OSX? My build was originally "Kalyway 10.5.1", but then I did an update to "10.5.5". Help please!!!!
