Edwood_theReal
Hi, first, my system: CPU: AMD x2 6400+ Graphic: XFX nvidia 8800 GTS 320MB (a little bit overclocked by XFX) RAM: 2x DDR2 Corsair 1GB @ 800mhz Motherboard: Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe my problem: Like I said in the title: I cant get any display-driver to work. I installed iPC 10.5.6 Universal (PPF6) with the following options: Voodoo Kernel Chipset: AppleNforceATA Test Audio: 1988B Wlan: 8187B Fix: Seatbelt.kext Fix: Finder 10.5.5 + Keyboard.prefpane Fix: AppleSMbios 800mhz DDR2 With this configuration (without display-driver) the system works fine - except that I get bad graphic-bugs of course. If I install a graphic-driver now (doesn't matter whether NVinject, darwin or EFI-String) first all seams to work fine, too. But after the restart, the big problems come: After the grey Apple-Loading-Screen the Monitor switches off for a few seconds due to no signal. After the monitor is back on, I see the Desktop but all is lagging like hell. I cant even navigate the mouse. I tried so many things already, but I cant fix this problem. I haven't got such issues with 10.5.5. Please help me. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/164412-cant-get-any-display-driver-to-work/ Share on other sites
