My system specs are AMD Phenom 2 940 TA790GX ... 790GX chipset IDE DVD drive SATA HDD I am installing on a MBR partition on a dedicated HDD tried chameleon 2 RC using the installation pkg ... causes a Kernel Panic at shutdown sequence Also there is the issue when I update the system to 10.5.5 using biketown scripts and update the kernel to xnu voodoo 9.5.0 it causes kernel panic at shutdown or restart your help is greatly appreciated Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/164224-weird-boot-issue/ Share on other sites
