I've been trying fruitlessly to install OSX (several versions) on my laptop (17" Jetta Jetbook... rebranded version of the Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Pro). It has 1GB RAM, internal dual SATA drives (I think this is the problem), Pentium M 2GHz, 17" display, yadda yadda yadda. Can't tell you what all the individual components are. Every time, I get to the boot screen, and with -v, I get the dreaded "waiting for root device" message and I just cannot get past this point. So. Is there anyone around London who can help me out here, who knows what they're doing with kexts and so on, and who could sort it out for me? I can pay for your time...
